Waterfall Beach

William Bay National Park in the Denmark Region

Waterfall off the Heathland

Waterfall Beach is a few kilometers east of Greens Pool along the bitumen road. The carpark is close to the carpark for Madfish Bay. See the William Bay National Park Map for details on how to get to Waterfall Beach.

In winter, the waterfall courses across the heathland and pours out over weathered rocks and down to the beach. Once at the beach, it carves a channel to the sea.

The beach is somewhat sheltered with BEAUTIFUL turquoise waters. The waterfall is on the far side of the beach, to the left from the carpark.

If you continue on past the waterfall you will be able to see Lights Beach in the distance. The beaches and rocks in between are rugged. If crossing, use the Bibbulmun trail and proper walking or hiking equipment.

The steep beaches in between are a clear reminder of why Denmark is "Where the Forest meets the Sea."
